Therapy and Coaching

My Coaching Services

I provide coaching and workshops outside of her therapy services, and would love to work with you! See my about page above for how to best reach me! My coaching includes:

Intimacy Coaching for ALL lifestyles and relationships orientations.
As an intimacy coach, I am dedicated to honing my ability to create a safe space for clients to explore and discover aspects of themselves that they may have never expressed before. We all encounter difficulties in our emotional and physical relationships, both with others and within ourselves. We live busy lives where taking time to experience sensuality is usually seen as the least responsible option or even a chore. However, our sensuality is more than sex, more than our relationships, more than empty pleasure. Our sensual lives are integral parts of our human experience and we all deserve to feel connected to our fullest self. That is the goal of intimacy and  sensual connectivity coaching, to connect to your most authentic self.

Life Coaching vs. Therapy: Understanding the Difference

Life Coaching vs. Therapy: Understanding the Difference

Are you looking to make positive changes in your life, but unsure whether you need a life coach or a therapist? Understanding the difference between these two services can help you choose the right path for your growth journey.

Can They Work Together?

Absolutely! Life coaching and therapy are not mutually exclusive. In fact, many people benefit from both services at different times in their lives. For example, someone may see a therapist to work through past trauma and then work with a life coach to set and achieve career goals. The key is to understand your needs and goals and choose the approach that best suits your current situation.  Both therapy and life coaching offer valuable tools and support to help you live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Therapy:

Therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a professional relationship focused on improving an individual's well-being, mental health, and resolving emotional difficulties. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders using a variety of techniques such as talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and more. Therapy often delves into past experiences, childhood history, trauma, and deep-seated emotional issues to promote healing and understanding of one's self. Therapy is often long-term, with sessions lasting weeks, months, or even years, depending on the individual's needs. I currently provide therapy through Associated Behavioral Health Services, please contact them for inquiries.

Life Coaching:

Life coaching, on the other hand, is more future-focused and action-oriented. Coaches work with clients who are looking to set and achieve specific goals in their personal or professional lives. While coaches may help clients explore their values and beliefs, they primarily focus on creating actionable plans to help clients reach their objectives and helping clients identify goals. Coaches often work with clients to improve areas such as career, relationships, health, and overall well-being. The focus is more on taking practical steps to achieve desired outcomes. Itg is typically more short-term, with some exception with coaches unable to provide diagnose. Coaches are not bound by any set professional entity and can be licensed from any number of programs though the International Coaching Federation is held in some high esteem. A number of folks use the Life Coaching label who may or may not be adequately trained.

I heavily advise you to do your research on any person or program offering more emotion/psychological focused coaching without an officially recognized license or education in mental health, wellness, or psychology.
